AI integration services

Connect an AI-assisted process to the tools your team already uses, with explicit permissions and recoverable failures.

Understand the service

What this means in practice

AI integration is the engineering around a model: obtaining authorised information, shaping it for a task and delivering the checked result to the correct business system. A connection may use an API, a supported connector, a webhook or a scheduled import. The right choice depends on what the provider exposes and what your organisation permits.

The discovery work should establish the system of record for every important field. If a CRM and a spreadsheet disagree, AI should not silently choose the preferred answer. Temrik can investigate a specific integration, document dependencies and propose a testable connection before any production write access is enabled.

A practical workflow example

Illustrative scenario · not a customer case study

A customer changes a requested delivery date. A proposed integration links the incoming request to an existing CRM record and prepares an update. It shows the old and proposed values, checks the record has not changed since retrieval, and asks an authorised operator to approve the update.

Proposed engagement

How we would approach the work

01

Inventory access

Identify systems, API editions, data owners, credentials and the smallest permissions needed. Confirm provider limits and whether a testing environment exists.

02

Design the data contract

Specify identifiers, required fields, validation, duplicate handling and error messages. Record which system wins when sources conflict.

03

Prove recovery

Test expired credentials, repeated events, missing fields and provider downtime. Demonstrate that retrying a request does not create duplicate work.

Deliverables to agree in the scope

  • A connection and permission inventory.
  • A field mapping and failure-handling specification.
  • A tested integration scope with a support owner and revocation procedure.

Access, sample information and reviewer availability affect the plan. Any implementation, provider costs, support arrangements and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.

Limits worth understanding

  • A logo in an integration catalogue is not proof of an enabled connection.
  • Provider subscriptions, API access, admin consent and maintenance can affect feasibility and cost.

Questions to bring to the first conversation

  • Which system is authoritative for the information?
  • Does the workflow need write access or only a draft?
  • How will staff recover when a connection stops?

UK teams

Scope the work for your operating context.

For UK organisations, include the tenant administrator and the person responsible for data protection in the access review. Confirm UK date handling, permitted recipients and any supplier review steps before scheduling the pilot.

A starting reference for your review: ICO: AI and data protection guidance. Local obligations and deployment settings need to be assessed for the actual use case.
